Conference at Domus Academy, Milan

23 January 2009 -  In occasion of the project “DE-FRAG”, conceived by the Domus Academy in Milano, a cycle of lectures and researches to investigate the new urbanistic structure of the Milano east side area with the participation of designers, landscape architects and art critics, Claudia Zanfi was invited to talk about her experience in the project Green Island, on green urban areas and sustainability.

Zafos Xagoraris at Istanbul Biennial

Istanbul Biennial, September 2007 International artist Zafos Xagoraris presents his project Port Ampliphons in Istanbul Biennial. In the two cities during their Biennials, aMAZElab has produced site-specific sound performance of the Greek artist Zafos Xagoraris. A port city is composed of areas like the water front, docks, wharehouses, beaches, where sea and the urban context merge.

The book (publishe by Silvana Editoriale, 250 pages book, 2 languages (it+engl), 160 images full colors) gathers the results of 18 months of researches and the site specific artistic interventions by partners and contributors from six mediterranean cities: Istanbul, Beirut, Nicosia, Tel Aviv, Alexandria, Barcelona.
